Launch of AS 1123.0-2024 Autoprogettazione - Part 1: Chairs for Children

This event is part of the Tin Sheds Gallery, 'Replica Autoprogettazione' exhibition program of events.

Complete Thought Studio presents the launch of "AS 1123.0-2024* - Autoprogettazione - Part 1: Chairs for Children". 

Designs for furniture from Autoprogettazione by Enzo Mari have been scaled to suit different ages of children and amended to use readily available Australian DAR timber sections. The designs aim to create versions of the chairs that are proportionally as close as possible to the objects originally presented in "Proposta per un'autoprogettazione".

For those able to attend the gallery in-person, a free printed copy of the amended drawings will be available. For those unable to attend in-person, a digitial copy of the drawings will be sent to registered attendees on Saturday the 21st of September 2024.

Packages for the different childrens chairs are also available for purchase, these will include a printed set of drawings, all necessary components cut to size, nails for fixing (and some for bending!) and offcuts to practice hammering. (Hammer not included)

Packages will need to be collected from the Tin Sheds Gallery between 11AM & 4PM on the 21st of September. Please get in touch prior to purchase if this date and time doesn't suit to arrange for an alternative collection option.
