Launch of IMPACT100 Sydney North 2023 Granting Year
Event description
Shining a light on the work of Indigenous for-purpose organisationsÂ
Please join us on Thursday 23Â March for this free event to launch the IMPACT100 Sydney North 2023 granting year.Â
In this crucial year of the Voice Referendum, we want to shine a light on for-purpose organisations helping First Nations People. Come along to hear first hand from two indigenous organisations about the issues they are tackling.Â
We are privileged to have Graham Toomey, CEO Gunawirra, which is working to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities to reach their full potential, and Christine Robinson, CEO Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women's Legal Centre which provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women victims-survivors of violence with access to legal representation, advocacy and advice. The Centre particularly focuses on the needs of economically and socially disadvantaged women and children. Christine and Graham will be in conversation with Andrew Everingham, IMPACT100 Sydney North Advisory Board member and founder of Sydney Homeless Connect.
The event is being held in a private home in Mosman, we will provide the address closer to the time. Everyone is welcome, so please spread the word and invite anyone who might be interested.Â
Be part of this important discussion, catch up with IMPACT members, friends and supporters, and hear what's planned for 2023.
