The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Research Strategy, Human Services Dataset (HSDS) and Pathways of Care Longitudinal Study (POCLS) data asset: Online Webinar for Researchers and Evaluators
Guest speakers: Dr Kathleen Falster, Senior Lecturer UNSW School of Population Health and Associate Professor Paul Gray, Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research, University of Technology Sydney
DCJ’s Family and Community Services Insights, Analysis and Research (FACSIAR) invites you to a webinar to promote the DCJ Research Strategy (2020-2022), and the availability of the HSDS and the POCLS data asset for research and evaluation. DCJ will provide information for the sector to understand how approved researchers can access key linked datasets to build new evidence to improve outcomes for clients and communities. The aim of the webinar is to continue to build and enhance collaborative partnerships to inform policy and practice.
Program will be as follows:

- Overview of DCJ Research Strategy and HSDS: Dr Jessica Stewart, Executive Director, FACSIAR, DCJ
- Overview of POCLS: Merran Butler, Director, Statistical Analysis, Data Governance and Research, FACSIAR, DCJ
- Improving child and family outcomes: Building policy relevant evidence using linked data: Dr Kathleen Falster, University of New South Wales and Associate Professor Paul Gray, University of Technology Sydney
There will be a short Q&A session after the official presentation.
