The Venue

One of Sydney’s inner city best kept secrets, The Women’s Club is a historic, beautiful space overlooking Hyde Park. Founded by a group of women who refused to allow the restrictions placed on them to stand in the way of their determination to fully participate in public life, it is a place to come together to celebrate, to learn, and to be safe. 

Yes, men are welcome to attend the event.   

Accessibility 

Entry to the building is via automatic doors on Elizabeth Street, with elevator access to Level 4 where our public rooms are located on a single level. Please note the Women’s Club’s entry door on Level 4 is manual. There is a door bell that is high and not wheelchair accessible, but we will have someone at the door on the night. There are no stairs into the venue, and there is an accessible bathroom.
