Laura Ellen Single Launch
Event description
Join us for an intimate evening at the Artful Yoga Gallery as Melbourne singer-songwriter Laura Ellen celebrates the release of her new single, Feels Like Home.
The lock-down inspired single highlights the power of love to provide a peaceful refuge
from the chaos of the world—a timely reminder as we approach the holiday season, a
time for love, reconnecting with our roots, and getting away from the busyness of life.
The Artful Yoga gallery was intentionally chosen as the venue for this launch. Coinciding with the theme of 'home', The Artful Yoga Gallery will help us wind down and embrace a feeling of peace and warmth with the cosy floor seating on blankets and bolsters, BYO food and drinks and snacks and drinks provided. Please bring any additional pillows, blankets, camp chairs, wine etc that will make you embrace this night like it's your own home. If you have any back issues, it is highly suggested that you bring some extra things to keep yourself comfortable.

SUPPORT ACT: TI VONNE
Ti Vonne casts messy human emotion into soul-stirring poetry. Having previously fronted rock band Lady Be Good and played multiple Melbourne venues, the Brisbane-born singer-songwriter embarked on her solo project in 2023 with the release of her debut single, Why Didn't You.
Inspired by the likes of Dermot Kennedy and Missy Higgins, Ti Vonne channels her Irish-Australian roots through her folk-pop sound. Her introspective lyrics ooze sensitivity bound in strength. There is an element of growth and resolution in all her songwriting, letting listeners in on who she was and who she has become.
Her, Ti Vonne's third single set to be released on 30 August, is all about crushing on someone you never thought was your type. Inspired by the queer encounters of loved ones, Ti explores the tug-of-war feelings of fear and exhilaration that are all-consuming during the early days of infatuation. This anthemic, dreamy record is an ode to unexpected love, feeling freely and daydreaming without inhibition.
With even more music planned for release in 2024, Ti Vonne is only just getting started.
