Event description
Our SUPER SUNDAY FUN DAY AND MARKET is the perfect event for Big and Little Kids aged 1-7 years old and their Grown Ups!
Get hours of entertainment for just $7.50 for Little Kids (1-3yo) and $15.00 for Big Kids (4-7yo). Grown Ups and Babies are totally free.
With their ticket, your kiddos can:
- Engage with sensory play stations hosted by local activity providers and playgroups
- Participate in 30m indoor and outdoor mini-classes run by a host of amazing local gymnastics centres, dance schools, sports clubs etc.
- Roll up, roll up to our free 30m magic show
- Dig up 'fossils' in our dinosaur bone pit (spoiler, they aren't real fossils, but it will be fun anyway!) or
just get messy in our dirt pit
- Complete our scavenger hunt and go in the draw to win big
- Run their sillies out in our Wacky Races events
- Chill out in our Quiet Zone designed especially by our Educators for those with sensory sensitivities
- Run (or crawl) amok in Little Kids Corner hosted by our friends at Mother Duck Lawnton
And if we're really lucky, we might even have a big red fire engine or shiny police car in attendance on the day!
Grab some KindyBucks when you purchase your ticket or at the event so your kiddos can:
- Bounce around on our epic jumping castle
- Cuddle some critters at our petting zoo
- Transform themselves at our professional face painting stall
- Rock a new do at our Funky Monkey Hair and Nail Bar
- Re-energise themselves with some fairy floss
- Create a cool keyring at our Shrinky Station
But it's not all about the kids... Grown Ups can relax with a coffee from the coffee van while browsing the goodies for sale at our family focused market stalls.
When the munchies hit, spread your blanket out in our picnic area in Barclay Park and enjoy some wood fired pizza
or a sausage in bread from the Kindy BBQ. We'll have giant games out for everyone to enjoy and there is a
playground just metres away!
All proceeds raised on the day will go towards essential upgrades for Lawnton Kindergarten, ensuring that we can continue to provide quality early childhood education in our local community for another 50 years (yes we're really that old! we just don't look it).

Getting Here
- Driving: There is plenty of on-street parking available on Todds Rd, Nightingale Drive and other local streets.
- Train: Our event is conveniently located walking distance (700m) from Lawnton Train Station.
- Bus: There is a bus stop at the front of the Kindy serviced by the 669 and 674 buses.
- Disabled parking: There are a limited number of car spaces at the Endeavour Foundation (which adjoins Kindy and the park) which we have arranged to use as disabled car spaces.
- Drop-off/Pick-up zone: We have arranged to use the Endeavour Foundation (which adjoins Kindy and the park) driveway as a drop-off/pick-up zone for those with young children, prams or limited mobility for which on-street parking may be challenging.
