Description

LAZR BEES are an extremely fun originals band with a huge sound and tongue-in-cheek humour! On Friday November 20 we launch our second single, “Cave Carioca” - a song that amalgamates Balkans, Baile Funk, Ragga, and Synth rock into a dance frenzy! With support from Brazilian Forro Dance band Fua Da Tita, and Tommy D Tommee D, the psych-doofer rockers, as well as Roshin on the decks to keep you dancing after the bands are done!

LAZR BEES is a collab between Eastern-European composer Misha Doumnov (ex-Bobok), Tom Benson (Headphones Jones, Belly Savalas) Arthur Witherby (The Seven Ups,), Kane Watts (Amadou Suso band), and Hanna Silver (Tinpan Orange)

Lazr Bees rocked festivals such as Tanglewood, Questival, Renaissance, Fed Square, have sold out shows at bar Oussou, the Espy, Open Studio, Motley Bauhaus, 303 and more.

Soaring vocals, dark funky bass lines, and dance-oriented horn and string sections lead the band as they bring originals with authentic Balkans, Klezmer, Ethio, and Latin Electronica/Ragga flavours, tied together with multilingual lyrics. The lineup features vocals, electric violin, saxes, bass, synths and drums. It’s all about groove, danceability, flying melodies and cheeky madness. See you on the dancefloor!

Fuá Da Tita play Forró, a groovy folk style from Brazil. The music is both fiery and relaxed, and impossible not to dance to!

Tommy D Tommee D deliver an original brand of Doof-Rock psychedelia, with elements of drum’n’bass, a bangin’ horn section, and riffs aplenty.

Roshin is on the decks to finish up the night with his spontaneous blend of global bass, tribal tech, and other delights.
