LBS #2: Native Bees with Dr Kit Predergast

LBS #2: Native Bees with Dr Kit Predergast

Thursday 13 August 2026 10.00 - 11:30am online on Zoom

Join WALN, and Dr Kit Predergast, i.e. The Bee Babette as we dive into all things native bees. Kit will probably need no introduction to most, but she is a native bee scientist, conservation ecologist and science communicator.

We will explore native bee behaviour, when they evolved, key considerations for planting and creation of nesting habitat and much more. This session will also explore funding options available for native bee surveys so you can know what special bee's are buzzing around your local patch.

This event is generously supported by the WA Government's State Natural Resource Management Program and the National Landcare Network.
