Workshop 4: Proactive Performance Management
This workshop has been developed to assist new leaders to better identify, act upon and manage performance and interpersonal issues in the workplace.
It will take a close look at the following:
- Causes of conflict and poor performance
- Conflict resolution styles, understand your style and when to adapt
- Using feedback to change behaviour
- Strategies to assist in addressing performance and interpersonal issues
- Questioning techniques to identify individual challenges and solutions
- Providing support

- Know and understand causes of conflict and performance issues
- Proactively identify and resolve issues prior to escalation
- Apply conflict resolution and performance improvement strategies
- Greater confidence recognising potential conflict and dealing with conflict in the workplace
- More effectively demonstrate empathy when communicating with others
