Event description

"Thank you for the online Leading by Facilitation workshop this morning Paul. You had just the right amount of content for 60 minutes. It didn't feel rushed, and we all came away with some meaningful new frameworks and tools."

~ Dr Emma McGuirk, Economic Anthropologist

"I took so much away from it in just 60 minutes. I shared the invite with my network because your work is so needed right now Paul! In this environment of people burning out trying to do more with less, we need clarity and purpose with our meetings, to save time and effort. A great session and one that anyone would benefit from."

~ Stephanie Jones, Leadership Development Centre

------------------------------

One of the key roles of leadership is harnessing the contributions of other people.

Meetings are crucial for successful teams, yet research reveals that 70% of meetings are considered a waste of time.

Ouch. That's a lot of wasted time and money.

But it's understandable. Many of us have never been trained how to facilitate. No wonder we find it a stressful experience. No wonder people find them frustrating.

In today's interconnected world, it's more important than ever before that you know how to bring people together to discuss, debate and decide.

I've noticed three key challenges with leading meetings:

  • Aimless: Meetings take up valuable time and often don't add any real value... people leave wondering "what was the point of that?"
  • Stressful: Responding to conflict is tough... and worrying about it creates a lot of unnecessary stress.
  • Time-wasting: It takes you a long time to prepare, attend and recover... making your job harder, not easier.

Does that resonate for you?

I love teaching leaders how to facilitate so they can improve engagement and performance.

In this webinar, we'll explore:
* What is facilitation (and why is it critical for all leaders)?
* How can we grow our confidence in facilitation?
* What next steps can you take to keep developing? (I'll share some free resources and let you know about my training programmes too.)
