With the current curriculum refresh and ongoing change to NCEA, it's important middle and senior leaders understand how to lead curriculum change. This workshop will provide school leaders with advice and approaches to lead their teams through the curriculum refresh and other changes in the education landscape. We will explore a concrete set of 'Monday-ready' strategies to foster curriculum innovation by creating a team culture of smart risk-taking, adult learning and mutual accountability.

About the facilitator:

Dr. Mark Osborne is the Director of Leading Learning and has been a teacher, school leader, consultant, author and speaker for almost thirty years. He has a PhD from the University of Melbourne in how to lead change in education, and has worked with schools and school districts throughout Australasia, North American, Europe and Asia. Mark is particularly passionate about future-focused education, innovative learning environments and educational leadership.
