The retreat is focused on connecting with the individual passions and interests of each participant and workshopping fun and imaginative ways to think about forward movement, individually and societally. The beautiful, natural location is the perfect place to unwind and connect with like-minded people on a journey of self-discovery. Come along for a fun and inclusive weekend of facilitated activities and delicious meals (included in ticket price). 

The retreat will be facilitated by Claire Ogden and Athira Emmanuel. 

Claire has broad experience in community and professional areas of leadership. Claire has been an activist, performer, director, coach, political candidate, small business owner, event organiser and workshop facilitator. She is passionate about helping people clarify situations to find forward movement in their lives. Claire is a board director of Eco Villages Australia and runs her own business supporting people with communication skills and personal development.

Athira is a youth worker and social support worker with a passion for environmental and social justice. Athira has a lot of experience working with women and marginalised groups. She has lived in a number of intentional communities and has been involved in governance, community organising and non-violent conflict resolution at the grassroots level. Athira is a passionate cook and will be supporting the care needs of the participants during the retreat.

Bellbunya Eco Retreat is an intentional community and retreat centre located in Belli Park, Sunshine Coast. Participants will enjoy facilities such as dining hall with provided meals, campgrounds, hot showers, workshop hall, and 40 acres of subtropical forest with permaculture gardens. Accommodation rooms are available for an additional fee.
