Description
Leading on Ice
How do you lead when the ground beneath you changes?
You can be experienced, capable and confident in what you do, and then something changes.
A restructure. A difficult leadership situation. Being overlooked. Redundancy. A job search that is taking far longer than expected. Or simply realising that the way you've always operated isn't working in quite the same way anymore.
Suddenly, things that once felt certain don't.
You may start questioning your confidence, your decisions, how others see you and even whether your experience is still relevant.
Leading on Ice is a three-part live online leadership masterclass exploring what happens when circumstances change, how pressure and uncertainty affect the way we think and behave, and how we move forward without losing sight of who we are and what we bring.
Session 1: What Happens When Things Change?
Identity, emotion and the stories we start telling ourselves
Explore what uncertainty does to confidence and self-belief, the connection between role and identity, and the stories we can start telling ourselves when external validation disappears.
You'll create a Current Position Map to separate what has actually changed from what you have started believing it means.
Session 2: Who Do You Become Under Pressure?
Behaviour, reputation and impact
Pressure affects more than how we feel. It changes how we behave and how others experience us.
We'll explore your pressure patterns, the gap between intention and impact, how strengths can become overused, and what your behaviour may be communicating to others.
You'll identify your own Pressure Pattern and its impact on your leadership, relationships, reputation or job search.
Session 3: How Do You Lead Forward?
Relevance, positioning and conscious choice
How do you take what you know about yourself and use it to move forward?
We'll explore what relevance means now, what you want to be known for, the value you bring beyond a job title and what you may need to change in how you show up.
You'll create your Leadership Forward Map, with greater clarity about what you want to carry forward and one meaningful action to put into practice over the next 30 days.
Who is Leading on Ice for?

You may be leading through organisational change, facing redundancy, trying to get back into the market, questioning your confidence or simply wondering what comes next.
Leading on Ice is about understanding what happens to the leader you already are when the conditions around you change.
