Description

Leading Your Own Life

A Women's Gathering at Rumbalara Sanctuary

"What will you choose to cultivate?"

Slow down. Listen deeply. Lead from within.

This gathering has grown from a shared friendship, a love of nature and a belief that when women come together, something powerful happens.

We are Yvonne Lovett and Sue Bradley, two women who have followed very different paths, yet share a deep belief in connection, curiosity, wellbeing and the wisdom that already lives within each of us.

Yvonne brings her experience as a Leadership & Lifestyle Coach, a pioneer of women’s surfing on the Central Coast and a lifelong explorer of what it means to Make Life WOW.

Sue brings her passion for nutrition, growing food, nature and community, creating experiences that reconnect us with the earth, nourishing food and one another.

Together, we have created Leading Your Own Life as an invitation to pause, breathe, listen and reconnect—with yourself, with nature and with the women around you.

A day to share stories, exchange wisdom, nourish your body and spirit, and perhaps discover a spark that has been quietly waiting to be ignited.

Held at the beautiful Rumbalara Sanctuary Retreat on the Central Coast, together, we will explore the power of intention, boundaries, self-awareness and the inner wisdom that guides us towards greater wellbeing, health and alignment.

Meet your Hosts

Yvonne Lovett

Leadership & Lifestyle Coach

At an early age, Yvonne assigned herself a project: to make her life WOW.

Her WOW moments have often been found in her connection with nature—surfing, exploring the Australian bush and travelling to many countries around the world. These moments of freedom, aliveness and wonder have sometimes stood in contrast to the parts of life that felt far less grand.

After a lifetime of practice, Yvonne has learned to ride the waves of life—the highs, the lows and everything in between—trusting in the life force that carries us through it all.

A pioneer in establishing women's surfing on the Central Coast of NSW, Yvonne has always been passionate about creating opportunities for women to discover their strength, courage and sense of possibility.

Today, as a Leadership & Lifestyle Coach, Yvonne shares the wisdom, joy and perspective she has gathered along the way, helping women explore what it means to lead their own lives—to find their direction, lean into life's possibilities and discover the moments that make life WOW.

Yvonne believes that making life WOW isn't about having a perfect life. It is about learning to recognise, create and fully experience the moments that make us feel alive—even when life doesn't go according to plan.

She invites women to listen to their own inner voice, trust their instincts, embrace life's waves and discover what is calling them forward.

Find your voice. Trust your strength. Lead your way. Making Life Wow - one moment at a time.

Sue Bradley

Sue Bradley is a qualified Nutrition Consultant, community leader and passionate advocate for reconnecting people with nature, nourishing food and one another.

Through her work with In8lyGood Nutrition & Wellness and her involvement with SWAMP Central Coast Community Garden, Sue creates experiences that bring people together around food, growing, nature and wellbeing. She loves sharing the simple wisdom of growing and preparing food, understanding where our food comes from and discovering how the way we nourish ourselves can influence the way we live and feel.

Sue's work is grounded in the belief that wellbeing begins with connection—to ourselves, to the food we eat, to the soil that grows it, to nature and to our community.

As a facilitator, Sue brings warmth, curiosity and a genuine love of bringing people together. She creates spaces where people feel welcomed, included and encouraged to share their own stories, knowledge and wisdom.

For Sue, there is no single path to wellbeing. We each carry our own experiences, strengths and gifts. When we come together and share those gifts, something greater emerges.

It is this belief in collective wisdom, connection and the natural life force within each of us that Sue brings to Leading Your Own Life.

Her invitation is simple:

Slow down. Connect. Nourish. Listen to your own wisdom—and discover what is ready to grow.

Our Invitation

There comes a time when we realise that no one else can lead the life we are here to live.

Not the expectations of others.
Not the busyness of everyday life.
Not the stories we've carried for years.

But the clarity and wisdom that reveal who we truly are.

Leading Your Own Life is an intimate gathering for 12 women who are ready to pause, reconnect and gently remember the wisdom that already lives within them.

Together, we'll spend a day immersed in nature, meaningful conversation and shared experiences that awaken clarity, courage and intention.

This is not about fixing yourself.

It is about creating the space to hear yourself again.

Our Philosophy

We believe...

Every woman carries wisdom.

Every woman has lived experiences that can become medicine for someone else.

When we gather with openness and curiosity, our stories, insights and experiences become part of something much bigger than ourselves.

No one person holds all the answers.

Together, we become the collective wisdom.

WALKING THE LAND

We will then journey onto the magnificent land of Rumbalara Sanctuary.

Guided by Yvonne, you will discover the stories and spirit of this special place while being invited to slow your pace, breathe deeply and connect with nature.

Feel the earth beneath your feet.

Listen to the sounds around you.

Allow yourself moments of stillness and reflection.

Nature has its own wisdom, and when we slow down enough to listen, we often hear what we need.

THE CIRCLE OF WISDOM

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and guided towards the Spiral Walk.

Here we will begin our day by setting an intention—creating a personal focus for what you would like to receive, explore or create for yourself.

Together, Yvonne and Sue will share their own stories, experiences and wisdom, opening the space for connection, conversation and collective exchange.

We believe every woman carries unique gifts, experiences and insights.

When we gather together, our individual wisdom becomes part of something greater.

We become pieces of a beautiful puzzle—connected through shared stories, compassion and understanding.

NOURISHMENT FROM THE EARTH

Before lunch, we will gather herbs from the garden to create our own herbal tea infusion and explore the connection between healthy soil, nourishing food and our own wellbeing.

Sue will share her knowledge of growing food, soil health and why reconnecting with seasonal, nourishing foods can support both our bodies and minds.

Just as healthy soil creates thriving gardens, the choices we make create the foundations for our own wellbeing.

PRESERVING NATURE'S ABUNDANCE

Gathering around the table, we will explore the traditional art of preserving seasonal vegetables.

You will learn simple preserving techniques, taste a variety of ferments and pickles, receive recipes and create something delicious to take home.

This is an opportunity to reconnect with practical wisdom passed through generations—slowing down, reducing waste and celebrating the abundance of the season.

THE GATHERING TABLE

At the heart of our day is a shared meal.

A beautifully prepared, high-vibrational lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients, supporting local growers and celebrating seasonal abundance.

Our lunch will be:

  • Plant-based

  • Gluten-free

  • Locally sourced where possible

  • Created to nourish body, mind and spirit

As we share this meal together, stories will unfold around food, community and connection.

Because the table has always been a place where wisdom is exchanged and belonging is created.

REFLECTION & CREATION

After lunch, we will move into a time of reflection and creativity.

Working with air dry clay, each participant will create their own botanical keepsake or small vase to take home.

CLOSING CIRCLE

We will return to the Spiral Walk to close our day together.

A time to acknowledge any shifts, new perspectives or intentions that have surfaced.

Perhaps a new path has revealed itself.

Perhaps a spark has been reignited.

Perhaps you simply feel more connected to yourself.

You are then welcome to linger by the fire, share stories and exchange wisdom before departing.

Because some moments are not meant to be rushed.
