LEAF Family Cookout
Event description
Join us to celebrate summer on the farm with our LEAF program!
LEAF (Learning for the Environment, Agriculture and Food) is Common Good City Farm's youth program for elementary and middle school age students. Programs are held 4 days each week and the program is drop in, new students are welcome to join at anytime with a registration form required on the first visit each year.
LEAF Youth Classes are on Sundays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:00, and LEAF Youth Garden Hours are on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00 and Wednesdays from 3:30-6:30.
During the program we work on planning and caring for the youth garden spaces, creating art projects, learning about food and farming and cooking a recipe together (on Sun and Thurs)
Join us on Sunday July 6th for a family cookout! We'll have hot dogs and burgers (with veggie options) and prepare some yummy sides together to share!
We hope you can join in the fun- new families welcome! All members of the family welcome to join to share in the food, get to know each other and celebrate summer!
