Melbourne Colonial Dancers Inc committee has agreed that until the COVID situation subsides even further the following are being applied for the safety of everyone attending and their contacts.
- We HIGHLY RECOMMEND and would prefer only those who are fully vaccinated, have had COVID-19 and recovered in the last 8 weeks or have a valid medical exemption to COVID-19 vaccination issued by an authorised medical practitioner - (we’d prefer everyone attending to be triple vaccinated) attend.
- As social distancing is not possible while dancing, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND all dancers wear properly fitted face masks when dancing.
- Dancers are to perform hand hygiene between dances and after coughing, sneezing or blowing their nose.
- BYO water bottle and cup.
- Only attend if they're well and not a close contact to a positive case.
- Attend and later discover they’re positive, let MCD know so we can alert other attendees to look out for symptoms.
