Learn about the Geelong Zero Project
Event description
Join us to explore how we can end homelessness in Geelong by 2025.
We invite you to join Christine Couzens MP, David Person of the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness, and the team from Neami to share information about the Geelong Zero Project.
Over the morning, we will provide light refreshments and conversation to learn about:
- how Geelong Zero will work to end rough sleeping
- the growing international movement demonstrating that ending homelessness is possible
- the value of becoming a Geelong Zero Project partner.
About Geelong Zero
To end all homelessness, we are starting with rough sleeping by ensuring that when it does occur, it is rare, brief and a one-time occurrence.
Homelessness is a dynamic problem, so we need a dynamic measure of what an end to homelessness looks like.
Through a Collective Impact approach and an evidence-based strategy, the Geelong Zero Project brings together local organisations to reduce homelessness in the Geelong region and end rough sleeping by 2025.
Run in partnership, Geelong Zero is supported by Neami National in partnership with Australian Alliance to End Homelessness and supported by the City of Greater Geelong.
