WHAT IS THE TAGALOG LANGUAGE?
"Tagalog is a major language in the Philippines, spoken by over 100 million people. It is the native language of those living in the Tagalog region of Luzon, the country's largest island. In 1937, President Manuel L. Quezon of the Commonwealth Republic declared Tagalog the basis for the national language. Later, in 1959, it was renamed Pilipino."
