Meet your instructor: Amber Ivey
Although Amber Ivey is technically an artistic dabbler, enjoying a variety of arts and crafts, she has been crocheting for over 10 years, and has a plethora of crochet teaching experience thanks to running the Longmont Community Crochet Guild since 2018. Prior to running the guild, she was a full time mom, and prior to becoming a mom she worked as a middle school math teacher. Her past interests have seen her try pottery, acting, furniture refinishing, poetry writing, black and white photography, bookbinding, ballroom dancing, upholstery, jewelry making, sewing, embroidery, collage, graphic design, and knitting. She has lived in Miami, NYC, and France, and dreams of one day being fluent in Spanish and visiting Cuba.
