Event description

Ages 6 - 12 years

This fun and experimental workshop focuses on drawing from observation for inspiration. Zoë will guide you to create your very own nature calendar learning how to observe and study nature’s cycles by making phenology wheels on quality paper. Phenology is simply the study of nature’s seasons. Working outside and using the surrounding landscape as our guide, children will learn drawing skills and apply these to their nature calendars. Each child will create and illustrate one daily and one monthly calendar that they are encouraged to continue with a drawing practice at home.
