For Primary School Students in Grade 2 - 6

Thursday afternoons

Oct 9 - Nov 27

3.30 - 4.30pm

 An artist led program with Zoe Awen, focusing on deepening and developing drawing skills further through observational drawing. This progressive program brings new activities for students including perspective 101, fun uses of colour, Cubism, charcoal drawing and more! Building on each week, Zoe will guide students to try new techniques while also reflecting on their process, enhancing self-awareness and expression as emerging artists.

 

Rough week by week breakdown:

 Wk 1 Drawing warmups / shape & line

 Wk 2 Charcoal techniques

 Wk 3 Charcoal and collage process

 Wk 4 Cubism drawing / draw YOUR angle

 Wk 5 Perspective 101

 Wk 6 Sketching buildings

 Wk 7 Fun Uses of Colour

 Wk 8 Painting on canvas – your style

 

Please note that this workshop will take place outside, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing, including shoes.

We are unable to provide credits for missed classes

Parents are not required to stay.


Please note: When purchasing your ticket, the Gallery absorbs all related booking fees. Ticket prices include materials. 

Refund Policy
