Help us make bunting!

From CBD Flags to Party Bunting!

Give yourself some quality time to get amongst the fun, creating a valuable community asset!

We’re giving the old GDC summer flags, previously flown from poles around the CBD, a colourful new life as reusable bunting for parties, festivals, backyard barbecues and summertime gatherings.

There’ll be plenty of cutting and sewing straight lines as we turn these fabrics into decorations to enjoy again and again, so you will get the hang of how to whip one up of your own later OR you might even be able to do just that if you bring your own fabric.

Otherwise,  just come and help us build our festival and party kits for TEC’s resources library, ready for the community to borrow if and when they need.

A little creativity, a little stitching and fewer single-use decorations! Yay to that!

WHAT TO BRING: Bring your sewing machine if you have one!
