Learn to make a zine with Bianca Martin
Event description
Learn to make a zine with Bianca Martin
Zines are do-it-yourself small-circulation publications, not quite a magazine and not quite an art book. Learn how to make your own perzine - a zine that contains any type of autobiographical content or personal perspective such as poetry, comics, rants, lists - using a single sheet of paper. In this workshop you'll be shown three ways of folding a single sheet of paper to create unique visual or textual narrative opportunities. It will cover a brief history of the perzine and the different ways to approach the content, with examples.
