Would you or your child like to learn to how to ride a bike? Perhaps you are looking to regain confidence. It’s never too late to get on a bike and learn how to ride.

Harpley and Wyndham City Council have partnered with Bicycle Network to offer Harpley residents an opportunity to learn how to ride a bike over 3 weeks in October.

What is it?

Expert coaches from Bicycle Network will deliver seperate beginner learn to ride sessions for children (5 to 13 years) and adults (18 years and older).
These 3 week programs will suit children and/or adults that have never ridden a bike before, or may have ridden a long time ago and wanting to build confidence again.

When is it?

The programs will be delivered over 3 weeks on Saturdays 12, 19 and 26 October.
- Children: 10 to 11am
- Adults: 11:30am to 12:30pm

*Participants must be available to attend all 3 sessions.

Where will sessions be held?

The programs will be delivered at Lollypop Creek Primary School - 114 Shipwright Parade, Werribee 3030
Sessions will be held on the basketball courts within school grounds, where you will be the only users. This maximises safety and a beginner friendly enviornment.

Do participants need to own a bike?

No, all bikes and helmets will be provided.
If participants do have their own bikes and/or helmets, they are welcome to bring these along.
Participants should bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing, including close-toed shoes.

Registration Information:

Please only register if you/your child can attend all 3 sessions.
Please check in with the coaches on arrival.
Please follow any processes in place as directed by the coaches which are part of the risk assessment.

Data collection and enquiries:

Registration information will be kept on a secure database and will be used in a statistical format for monitoring and evaluation purposes only. You may be contacted for feedback to help with course improvement/project evaluation. Medical information, name, age, gender and emergency contact details will be passed onto the coaches where required.
