Learn some well-known and some lesser-known Yiddish tunes with local Yiddishist Jana Mazurkiewicz Meisarosh. Discover the rich Yiddish history behind various theater songs, folk songs, tavern songs, lullabies, and other songs. Imagine a night in a shtetl, learning, analyzing, singing, and schmoozing with friends — with a glass of wine in hand. The class will take place in person and on Zoom. The topic of this session is LOVE SONGS.
