Education Excellence: Connecting Knowledge and Practice

Registrations are now open for the 2026 Learning and Teaching Summit, taking place on Friday 11 December 2026 at Adelaide University, City East Campus.

The Summit brings together academic and professional colleagues to explore innovative approaches to learning and teaching, share experiences, and celebrate practice that enhances student learning and success. The program will showcase a diverse range of interactive presentations, conversations, workshops and rapid-fire sessions aligned with the theme Education Excellence: Connecting Knowledge and Practice.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nicola Phillips, will deliver the keynote address, setting the scene for a full day of learning, discussion and connection. Throughout the day, participants will have opportunities to engage with colleagues, discover practical ideas and emerging research, and explore how knowledge can be translated into impactful educational practice.

Contributions from a wide range of disciplines and perspectives will provide valuable insights into current and future approaches to learning and teaching. Whether you are looking for inspiration, practical strategies, or opportunities to network with fellow educators, the Summit offers a valuable forum for sharing and learning together.

The day will conclude with an awards ceremony to present the inaugural 2026 Adelaide University Citations for Learning and Teaching, celebrating individuals and teams whose commitment and innovation have made an outstanding contribution to student learning and the student experience.
