Learning Online & Remote Facilitation

A bootcamp enabling you to deliver powerful online learning.

Online learning is nothing new, but as we adapt to the times, many facilitators, trainers and consultants (not to mention teachers!) are having to develop and deliver their content online for the first time. This shift requires a whole new set of skills and tools, as well as a new perspective on how to make the most of your existing content and skills in a virtual environment.

Online learning and facilitation represents a huge opportunity; while you can no longer deliver the same experience as an in-person workshop, the huge range of virtual tools at your fingertips opens up countless new possibilities for your learning experiences. It's not about taking in-person content and putting it online; it's about embracing the unique opportunities online learning offers.

This bootcamp will equip you with a new toolkit full of ways to engage your participants remotely across a range of activities, both collaborative and individual. You'll have the chance to play with new tools yourself, and experience the value they can add to your programs.

Our learning style is fast-paced, hands-on and immersive. You'll be applying new skills and mindsets throughout the bootcamp, and you'll walk away with a set of new tools to use in your facilitation work.

What you'll learn:

⚡️ Thinking differently about online learning.

Understand in-person and online learning as different approaches with different strengths, and leverage the unique opportunities offering by remote learning tools and experiences.

⚡️ Develop your own remote facilitation toolkit.

Experience a new set of remote facilitation tools, and learn how you can deliberately deploy context-specific tools to achieve your desired outcomes.

⚡️ Leverage the power of blended learning.

Understand which elements of your learning experiences can live outside of the virtual space, and how blended learning approaches can boost participant engagement and enrich learning.

This bootcamp will be delivered online via Zoom at 9:30am - 12:30pm AWST / 12:30pm - 3:30pm AEDT.
