Leather Journal Workshop

The Leather Journal Workshop is an intimate creative experience designed to bring together a small group of people for an evening of making, creativity, and connection.

This workshop has been intentionally curated to give you the opportunity to slow down, get creative, and make something beautiful with your own hands. Throughout the evening, you’ll be guided through the process of creating your own leather journal, with thoughtful prompts provided to encourage introspection and reflection.

Terms & Conditions – Leather Journal Workshop

By purchasing a ticket and attending the Leather Journal Workshop, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Event Participation

The Leather Journal Workshop is an intimate creative experience designed to encourage creativity, self-expression, and connection.

The workshop will include guided instruction, creative activities, and the opportunity to create your own leather journal using the materials provided.

2. Respectful and Welcoming Environment

The Leather Journal Workshop is intended to be a warm, inclusive, and respectful space for everyone.

Guests are expected to treat one another, the organisers, venue staff, and other attendees with kindness and respect.

The organiser reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the event if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, aggressive, or otherwise negatively impacts the safety or comfort of others. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.

3. Workshop Materials and Equipment

All materials required to participate in the workshop will be provided unless otherwise stated.

The workshop may involve the use of leatherworking tools, cutting implements, adhesives, punches, needles, or other crafting equipment.

Participants are expected to follow all instructions provided by the organiser regarding the safe use of materials and equipment.

Participants must use workshop tools responsibly and only for their intended purpose. The organiser reserves the right to restrict access to equipment if a participant is using it in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.

The organiser may make reasonable substitutions to materials, colours, finishes, or other workshop components where necessary.

4. Ticket Policy

You must be able to attend the Leather Journal Workshop in Sydney on the date and at the time specified on your ticket.

Tickets must be shown before entering. Attendees without proof of ticket purchase may be denied entry.

Tickets are limited due to the intimate and hands-on nature of the workshop. All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser.

Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes or at a price higher than the original purchase price. Any unauthorised resale may result in the ticket being cancelled without refund.

If you are unable to attend, please contact the organiser to see whether your ticket can be transferred to another person. Any ticket transfer must be approved by the organiser prior to the event.

5. Workshop Experience and Finished Product

As this is a hands-on creative workshop, each participant's finished journal may differ slightly in appearance, size, colour, stitching, markings, or finish.

Small variations and imperfections are a natural part of handmade leather goods and contribute to the unique character of each piece.

The organiser will provide guidance throughout the workshop, but cannot guarantee that every participant's finished journal will look identical to the example or sample shown in promotional materials.

Participants are responsible for their own work and should follow the instructions provided throughout the workshop.

6. Personal Belongings and Safety

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the event. The organiser is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Guests are also responsible for taking reasonable care of themselves and following all safety instructions provided by the organiser or venue.

Due to the hands-on nature of the workshop, participants should take particular care when using tools and materials.

The organiser is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage arising from a guest's failure to follow reasonable safety instructions or misuse of workshop equipment.

7. Event Changes

The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the workshop format, schedule, activities, materials, venue arrangements, or listed inclusions if necessary.

Any significant changes will be communicated to ticket holders as soon as reasonably possible.

If the event needs to be cancelled or significantly rescheduled by the organiser, ticket holders will be contacted with information regarding available options.

8. Photography and Content

Photos and/or videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional, social media, and other content purposes.

By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs or video taken during the event. Reasonable care will be taken to respect participants' privacy.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify the organiser on arrival and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request.

9. Creative Work and Intellectual Property

The journal created by each participant is their own handmade item and may be taken home at the conclusion of the workshop, subject to completion of the workshop and any applicable workshop requirements.

Workshop instructions, teaching materials, templates, designs, and other proprietary materials provided by the organiser remain the property of the organiser unless otherwise stated.

Participants may not reproduce, sell, distribute, teach, or commercially use the organiser's workshop materials, templates, or teaching methods without prior written permission.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket and attending the Leather Journal Workshop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
