Legacy - BMus Piping Degree Showcase 2026

"Legacy" will bring together pipers from all four years of the RCS Piping Degree for an evening celebrating the music and legacy of the course’s past and present tutors. The concert will be opened with the RCS Junior Traditional Music students.

The concert is a tribute to the tutors who have shaped the course and its students over the years, featuring music they have composed alongside pieces with which they have a particularly strong connection. The programme on the night will feature a mixture of large ensemble sets and year-group performances, as well as a couple of solo performances. We aim to showcase their influence and contribution to the course, as well as the wider piping community.
