Event description

Love magic, adventure, and fantasy games?
Always wanted to try Dungeons and Dragons but never had the chance?
Join Worlds 4 All for a 8 session mini-campaign featuring the renowned TTRPG, Dungeons and Dragons!

Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary with the launch of a new edition. We invite you to join us for an 8 session mini-campaign, taking characters from approximately Level 2-4 as they embark on an unexpected journey that will change their lives and their homeland forever. This is a homebrewed adventure that inspired by Filipino Indigenous cultures, The Islands of Sina Una supplement, and the Between Tangled Roots module. There are six player spots available for adults (ages 18+), and we love to play with people of all experience levels, even if you're brand new to TTRPGs! We will provide everything you need to play, from dice to character sheets, and explain all of the rules as we go. Our first session will be a "Session Zero" where we all meet, review game rules and safety tools, and build our characters together. The following seven play sessions will take us through our story, set in a tropical archipelago and home to the islands' legendary protectors: the soaring bakunawa.

The cost for this mini-campaign includes all 8 sessions, each of which runs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Please ONLY sign up for this mini-campaign if you can make at least 7 of the session dates:
  • Monday, February 3rd
  • Monday, February 10th
  • Monday, February 17th
  • Monday, February 24th
  • Monday, March 3rd
  • Monday, March 10th
  • Monday, March 17th
  • Monday, March 24th

To secure your spot, you'll pay a $100 deposit today (refundable until 7 days before the event) towards your chosen admission price. You will then be invoiced for the remainder of the ticket cost due by the first session at whichever tiered price you choose:
  • UPLIFTING ADMISSION: $50/session ($400 total)
    • Meant to function as a sort of "communal scholarship," this tier allows our small business to grow while still offering reduced rates for those who need them
  • STANDARD ADMISSION: $40/session ($320 total)
    • Our standard market rate that includes all sessions of facilitated play, advanced preparation, space rental fees, and facilitator travel.
  • COMMUNAL ADMISSION: $30/session ($240 total)
    • A slightly reduced admission rate for those who might otherwise be excluded due to financial hardship.

At Worlds 4 All, we strive to make every gaming table a safer and more inclusive space for all players. We use a variety of safety tools, including a Session Zero form and x-cards, to set clear boundaries, preview game themes, and accommodate accessibility needs.

Side Quest Books & Games is located in Bow Market, Union Square, Somerville, MA. We will have the entire venue to ourselves for this private event, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while we play! Location and parking information for Bow Market can be found here.
