LEGO Builders - Dragsters

Build it, race it, then make it faster. Design and build your own LEGO dragster, launch it down the ramp and chase the finish line — then head back to the bench, work out what cost you the race, and rebuild for the next run.

LEGO Dragsters is a hands-on engineering workshop for kids aged 8 and up. Along the way your child discovers how weight, stability, wheel alignment and aerodynamics change the way a build performs — testing a theory, seeing the result on the track, and refining between races. It's real design thinking, disguised as a very fast afternoon. No experience needed; just curiosity and a willingness to experiment. Our own senior robotics students guide every step, and there's a short snack break partway through.

And it's for a great cause. BotBuilders is a not-for-profit youth robotics team based in Brisbane. Every ticket goes straight back into the team — funding competition entries, equipment, and free STEM outreach to schools across Brisbane — so a few brilliant hours for your kid also helps power the next generation of young engineers.
