Leighton Beach Community Planting Day

We're planting for the future, and we need your help! 

Join us to plant 1,000 native seedlings and protect this iconic beach for generations to come. 

• Time? We will start at 9:00am with a safety briefing and finish around 11:30am, if not earlier. 
  
• Where to meet? Leighton Beach - meet at Orange Box Cafe  
• What to bring? Please bring enclosed shoes, long pants, hat, water bottle and sun protection. Wet weather gear advised if rain is forecasted. We will supply gloves and planting equipment. 
• Morning Tea? Free food provided such as muffins and wraps. Warm drinks available for purchase at Orange Box. 
• Registration: Please register for catering or if we need to notify you of event date change. This event is free, all ages welcome. Children under 16 are required to be supervised by a parent or guardian. If you do see this event last minute, please just come along.
