ELTHAM College proudly presents Les Misérables - School Edition,

Join us for this Gala Event - your slightly more expense ticket includes a welcome drink (a beer or a wine for adults) and nibbles on arrival with a 7.30pm start for the show! There will also be refreshments at interval and beverages available for purchase.

Les Misérables School Edition is a powerful and sweeping musical that follows the transformative journey of Jean Valjean, set against the backdrop of 19th century France. This epic tale explores the intertwined lives of revolutionaries, outcasts, and adversaries, all striving for justice, redemption, and a brighter future. Adapted specifically for younger performers, this abridged version runs just over two hours while preserving the emotional depth, musical richness, and dramatic impact of the full Broadway production.

Please note: while this is the School Edition, the script retains the original’s mature and heavy themes. It includes some profanity and coarse language, references to sexual content including prostitution, and depictions of violence and death.

ELTHAM College is not putting an age restriction on attendees, but adult supervision is strongly recommended.

Please park in either the Sports Stadium carpark on 1660 Main Rd Research or the Junior School Car Park (off Bells Hill Road - a sharp turn off Main Road will lead you to the car park if you are coming from Research (see image below), (if you are coming from the Warrandyte direction please turn on to Bells Hill Road from Warrandyte-Research road); Please see the map below to see the route from the car park to the theatre.
Please note that the car park closest to the theatre (Great Southern Road) has limited spaces available and will be used for disabled parking only.
The show begins at 7.30pm, we ask that people arrive 15 minutes before hand to ensure they can make their way to the venue from the car park and settle in.
