Lesbian Book Club July welcome event and book swap!
Description
18+ event*
Join us for the very first Lesbian Book Club Adelaide event!
We’re a new book club dedicated to celebrating everything sapphic/lesbian literature. This book club is open to anyone identifying with the sapphic/lesbian/wlw labels, wanting to expand their repertoire of books that share our experiences and finding others to talk about it with.
To kick off the community connection, we’re hosting a book swap, so we encourage attendees to bring any unwanted or spare copies of sapphic/lesbian literature. If you’re new to the sapphic/lesbian lit space or don’t have books to spare, don’t worry! Just bring yourself and we’ll be happy to see you there.
We’re also hosting a raffle to win one free copy of our first book club pick, "Cleat Cute" by Meryl Wilsner, which we will be discussing at our next meeting in August. Make sure to tick "yes" in the raffle checkbox when you RSVP if you want to go into the running to win!
As this is our first event, we’d love to hear from you how you want to see Lesbian Book Club Adelaide develop for future events, so you’ll get to have your say on important details, including:
Event location
Dates and times
What we read
Session format (discussion, games, etc!)
