Lesbians Play for Palestine

From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free.

On October 21, we invite our wonderful Lesbian/Queer/Trans/NB+ community to come show solidarity for Gaza.

Third Rodeo is hosting a soccer fundraiser to raise funds for humanitarian aid in Gaza. October 12 marks two years of the current genocide and 77 years of Palestinian oppression.

Third Rodeo is proud to sponsor this event through field hire and plans to organise recurrent social fundraisers to support Gaza.

Show your solidarity by playing or watching our soccer match! Our team colours will proudly display the Palestinian flag.

Players—please register under the team you'd like to represent and bring a shirt to signify your team colour.

Player and spectator donations will go directly to Water is Life Gaza, supporting food distribution and water trucks.

Receipts will be posted shortly after the match on Instagram.

Spectator donations will use a scaling method starting from $5, while player donations begin at $10, helping us reach our overall goal of over $440+.

Each team will consist of 11 players, including one goalkeeper. Gloves will be provided. The game will be played on a full-sized pitch in a round-robin format (25 minute games), with the winners of each round advancing to the finals.

Once team rosters are complete, we will announce the lineups on our IG.

Schedule:

- 6:00 PM: SHARP MEET

- 6:00 PM – 6:20 PM: Group Warm-Up

- 6:25 PM – 6:50 PM: Team Black vs. Team White

- 6:50 PM – 7:15 PM: Team Red vs. Team Green

- 7:15 PM – 7:30 PM: Half-Time Break

- 7:30 PM – 7:55 PM: Winners Play-Off

- 8:00 PM: SHARP Conclusion

Please note that times are approximate, but the schedule and end time will be strictly observed.

Photos and videos will be taken throughout the event, including team photos and crowd shots.
