Lessons from Lockdown - Virtual Conference
Event description
The education community has much to gain when reflecting on the consequence of Lockdown and remote learning!
So, in September 2020, join us at Lessons from Lockdown, a series of presentations focused on what we have learnt as a community. This virtual conference offers academics, policy makers, health workers, educators, parents, carers, and community members a chance to connect and to engage with a wide range of narratives on the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic as we ask: What have we learnt about our systems, and how has the pandemic changed us?
We are proud to be hosting more than 80 speakers at this event, one of the largest not for profit educational events in Australian history. We see this as more than an event: this is a community coming together as we navigate the experience of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Lessons from Lockdown is a little unusual compared other events you maybe have attended or seen advertised. We may be a small organisation, but we believe in people over profits. Thus, we are committed to providing equity of access through low registration fees as well as recording all sessions and making them available to all attendees until the conclusion of 2020.
This means if you can't attend a session you can catch-up when it suits you!
We are also offering free registration for participants from low GDP countries.
Please note tickets are limited and selling quickly.
We look forward to welcoming you to this important event.
