Description

Join our free online webinar, brought to you by Redwolf + Rosch, with guest presenters Climate Zero and Rewild.

It’s been 10 months since Mandatory Climate Reporting came into effect under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS). Group 1 companies are already reporting, Group 2 are starting their “dry runs,” and suppliers across industries are beginning to feel the impact.

As sustainability experts, the teams at Climate Zero and Rewild know this isn’t the easiest topic to understand. For many businesses, the questions are now less about “what’s coming?” and more about “how do we do this well?” – so we’ve invited the best experts we know to answer these questions and help guide you with your Mandatory Climate Reporting.

In this 60-minute webinar, we'll cover:

  • A quick recap of the legislation, who it applies to, and implications for suppliers.

  • What we’ve learned from Group 1 reporters so far and how Group 2 organisations are approaching their first dry runs.

  • Why governance matters and what auditors will be looking at.

  • Resourcing and budget considerations, and the value of tools + advisory support.

  • A practical case study from an existing customer of Climate Zero.

  • Please bring along your questions for our experts to answer in the Q&A session at the end.

Abbie Freestone - Director Climate & ESG at Rewild, and Tai Lennon - Managing Director at Climate Zero will share their insights and their experiences from working with clients navigating the new reporting requirements.

They will also be joined by Stacey Hadley - Sustainability Project Manager at Australian Homeware Enterprises (AHE). Working with Climate Zero and Rewild, AHE is currently preparing to report under ASRS 2 as part of Group 2. Stacey will share lessons from their voluntary reporting journey through to preparing for mandatory reporting, and offer practical insights for other organisations on a similar path.

The session will finish with an extended Q&A, giving you the chance to put your questions directly to the experts.

This webinar will help you understand what’s required of your business, how others are responding, and what practical steps you can take now.
