Each year, Courageous Women celebrates the endeavours of one woman in particular and this year, we welcome international speaker Nkandu Belz, as our speaker. Nkandu is currently exploring for copper in Zambia with Beltz Mining.

Even in Primary School, Nkandu recognised that #equity and #fairness just didn't come into the picture so she became a champion for womens' rights at a very young age when she spoke up at assembly.

"Her journey began as a girl-child advocate in Zambia, championing girl-child rights and later expanding her impact through various roles in journalism, peer counseling on HIV/AIDS, and executive positions with prominent organisations. Nkandu’s commitment to social change led her to establish initiatives such as ‘Nkandu’s Cultural Night’ and the ‘Kununurra Youth Development Program’."

It's so uplifting to hear from women like Nkandu. We're very privileged to bring her to our Courageous Women celebration. Come and join us and enjoy the sunset on the balcony at Swan Canoe Club in Mosman Park, WA.
