Celebrate the launch of our new range of active play toys with a fun family morning at Canterbury Gardens!

Join us for an exciting lineup of activities, including:

  • An obstacle course and sports activities presented by Ready Steady Go Kids
  • Giant Lego
  • Toddler roller coasters
  • Giant bubbles
  • Giant Jenga
  • Baby play area

Please note this is not a drop off event, all children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

This event is presented by Canterbury Area Toy Library Inc supported by City of Boroondara and Rotary Club of Balwyn through the community strengthening grants.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time do I need to arrive by?
Please arrive between 10 to 10.30. If you arrive after 10.30 your place may be given to another family based on demand on the day.

Where should I go on arrival?
Go to the rotunda on the side of the gardens closest to the train station car park where a volunteer will check your ticket on arrival. Please have the name on your booking ready to make check in easier for our volunteers.

What age is this event suitable for?
While all are welcome the obstacle course is designed for ages 1.5 to 6.

How many tickets do I need to book?
Please book 1 ticket per person attending.

Where will the event be happening?
The event will be situation on the grassed area alongside the rotunda. Please be mindful during the event of park visitors as it is being held in a community space. All activities will be set up on the grass and in the shade as much as possible.

What should I bring?
We recommend bringing a hat. While we plan to set up in the shade as much as possible it is summer and it will likely be hot and sunny.


Please note we will be taking photos during the event, please let our volunteer at the entry know if you don't want your family included in photos.
