Not only is this the New Year, but the New Moon, so it is an especially potent time for us to come together and set our intentions to make 2025 our most powerful year yet.

We reject the notion that the world is falling apart, though we agree that many of the old systems have to go! Now, more than ever, humanity is awakening to the profound truth of our shared potential. Together, we hold the power to transform, uplift, and create a future of boundless possibilities.

This night invites you to embrace these truths and focus on the future we desire to create, rather than fearing the one we don’t. It’s your chance to dance yourself into your fullest power—transcending space and time—to embody the highest, most loving version of yourself. A seasoned DJ and radio presenter, Andrew Haig has spent the last decade hosting The Shizzle on 99.9 BAY FM, exploring a diverse range of music across eras. Originally from Melbourne, he became a staple in the city’s underground scene, hosting electronic music shows on 3PBS FM and performing at major festivals like Earthcore, Rainbow Serpent, and Eclipse Festival. As a founding member of the Global Eyes project, Andrew earned a reputation as a DJ for those seeking sonic exploration. Now based in Byron Shire, he thrives on sharing music with adventurous dancefloors.

🌟 MIDNIGHT | DANU 🌟

DANU (formerly known as DJ Kelly Lynch) is one of Australia’s top female DJs, known for her progressive house sound and big room energy. With a career spanning three decades, she’s headlined major events like Sleaze Ball, Laneway and Colossus, and played alongside international acts such as Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, and Jimmy Sommerville, among many others.

Known for her technical skills and solid residencies at top Sydney venues, DANU has recently brought her passion for house music to the Northern Rivers, playing at packed events like Nudge Nudge Wink Wink and Mystic Valley. After a sabbatical focused on personal growth, she’s now re-launching her music career with renewed energy and vision.

DANU is a performer who creates an atmosphere, drawing from the energy of the crowd and her own intuition to shape her sets. “When I play, I want each member of the audience to know that, hey, I’ve got you in my vision, and you are an important part of my night, a contributor to the creative process that unfolds,” she says with the confidence that only experience can deliver.

🌟 2:00 AM | THE REAL JOHN BOND 🌟

John Bond has returned to the DJ scene, bringing with him the energy and experience of the golden era of acid house. From 1988 to 1992, John made his mark spinning vinyl at iconic parties and clubs in London and Ibiza. Known for his ability to take listeners on a journey and keep them on the edge of anticipation, his sets became a signature of that time.

With his records cleaned and a renewed passion for music, The Real John Bond is back, better than ever. Reviving the beats that defined a generation, while introducing his unique style to a new wave of dance music lovers—and a few old skool ravers too. Already this year having played with the Wax Addicts and pumping crowds at private parties, his reputation is building as a DJ worth staying up late for.

With a fresh twist on an old tale, he’s reigniting the magic that first inspired his audiences, with the added power of experience and wisdom at his fingertips.

✨ CEREMONIALIST | AMULET OF THE ACORNS ✨

Amulet ov Acorn (aka Amulet of the Acorns) is a shamanic witch, vocal sound healer and multidimensional channel. She is also a spiritual life coach, mother, ceremonialist and entrepreneur.

Amulet has been investigating in the Sacred Mysteries since a young age, drawing upon many different spiritual books and teachers over the years. Her preferred path is a simple path of honouring nature, the elements, and the symbols of the unseen realms, to find a deeper meaning in life. Amulet graduated from the School of Shamanic Womancraft in 2018, and draws upon this, plus her 7+ years of hosting women’s circles and 20+ years of doing personal ceremony, to inform her ceremonial work.

Her ceremonies are always simple, deep, and to the point, inspiring joy and community connection between participants. She has a reputation for bringing laughter and fun into spaces and encouraging people to open up to their true selves.

Amulet has been voice channeling since 2017, and singing professionally since she was 5. She hosts fortnightly song circles in Nimbin, and is birthing a series of conscious dance parties under the Sacred Sound Portals banner with one of her partners, John. She is also working on a series of workshops to teach vocal toning for healing.

She lives near Nimbin with her daughter and cat familiar, Hagrid, and is passionate about helping others to transform into their true, authentic self.

Sacred Sound Portals specialise in funky, music driven events with a sacred twist. Each of our events begin with a group ceremony – a fun, authentic and uplifting experience, to help us bond with each other, anchor our intentions for the night, and encourage more magic back into our lives!

Not only will this unite our community with intention and connection, but it will serve to assist all participants (and ticket holders, present or not) to be energetically connected with each other. This will help us to co-create a safe, brave space, enhancing the flow of synchronicity, meaning and connections over the night. And – should you choose to partake in heart opening or mind expanding substances – these conscious ceremonies will protect you from the nebulous ‘shadow forces’ that can become attracted to gatherings of souls with their mind’s filters down, keeping them susceptible to ‘bad trips’ and long term ill-effects.

This New Year’s Eve, we’re putting the unity back in community—celebrating trust, connection, and love to launch 2025 with passion and purpose.

POLICY ON KIDS ATTENDING

It is preferable to arrange babysitters for kids, but if you have no other choice and know that your children can handle loud music and lots of people, then we don’t want you to miss out because you’ve got your kids with you. Please take full responsibility for them, especially during the ceremony. Contact Sacred Sound Portals to let them know that you will be bringing them, or to ask any questions

REFUND POLICY

Sorry, we cannot give refunds, but you’re welcome to on-sell or gift your ticket if you can no longer make it, or keep it as a credit for a future event (valid for one year). Please email sacredsoundportals@gmail.com if you want to change the name on your ticket or need to organise a credit.
