Event description

This online event is an interactive professional development workshop for classroom music educators all around Australia, illustrating how to incorporate Australian music in classroom music teaching plans.

We will introduce and demonstrate teaching activities from the Australian Music Centre's music education resources:


Participation in this online workshop will contribute 1.5 hours addressing Standard Descriptor 2.1 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Participants may supply their NESA or teaching number upon registration (optional).

This workshop will be facilitated by Dr Joanna Drimatis, Music Education Specialist at the Australian Music Centre, with guests Paul Cutlan, Dr Andrea Keller and Adam Manning.
