About A Fairer World and Hobart Human Library

A Fairer World is a values-based community organisation who provides opportunities for schools, workplaces, and the Tasmanian community to learn, connect, and act together for positive social change. Their aim is to inspire individuals and groups to work towards a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world. Inspiring change, one story at a time.

The human "books" from Hobart Human Library share their personal experiences and perspectives through unique narratives. The library is a vibrant space where diversity thrives, offering “readers” the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and challenge stereotypes, with the aim of breaking down barriers, fostering empathy, and building connections through the power of storytelling.
