Let's talk healthcare
Waikanae Community Centre

Description
Labour has a plan for better healthcare: backing our nurses and frontline health workers, and making it easier to see a doctor.
Our health system is under real pressure. Wait times are too long, frontline staff are stretched, and nurses trained here are heading overseas for work. Here in Kapiti, too many families are still waiting too long to see a doctor.
Join Sophie Handford, Labour’s candidate for Kapiti, and Labour’s health spokesperson Dr Ayesha Verrall, a former Minister of Health and an infectious diseases doctor, to talk about the state of our health system and what’s needed to fix it. Bring your questions, your experiences and your ideas.
