The Australian Young Onset Dementia Special Interest Group is hosting this FREE webinar, Let us Grow: Life, Creativity and Connection.

This webinar explores how creativity, arts-based engagement, and inclusive group activities can support people living with young onset dementia to live meaningful, connected lives. Drawing on lived experience and the practice wisdom of established programs, the webinar will share practical insights and inspiration for people with young onset dementia, families, and professionals alike.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Althea Gordon – Artistic Director of Mind the Change, a programme enabling arts-based engagement and creativity for people living with dementia. Althea will share how creative practice can foster connection, self-expression, and wellbeing.

  • Matthew Clements – Founder of Songfest and the Young Ones Singing Group, inclusive singing programs designed to support people living with young onset dementia. Matthew will speak to the power of music and community in enriching daily life.

  • People with living experience of young onset dementia – People living with young onset dementia will share their personal journeys and the ways in which creative and social activities have helped them to live their best life.

This webinar is suitable for people living with young onset dementia, their family members and carers, as well as professionals working across health, disability, and aged care.
