"LET'S GO!!" Launching All Around This World's GLOBAL ORCHESTRA

Philly arts and culture community, LET'S GO! Join All Around This World LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21st as we launch the Global Orchestra, a new, INSPIRING international network of musical teaching artists who will use singing, drumming and FUN to teach kids EVERYWHERE about the wealth of world cultures.

Join us for a global music performance by some of Philadelphia's most extraordinary musicians:

-- Alex Shaw - percussion / vocals

-- Patricio Acevedo (Chile / Andes) - guitar / cavaco / cuatro / vocals

-- Senfu Stoney (rep. West Africa) - djembe / percussion / vocals

-- Nathalie "Talie" Celin (Haiti) - guitar / vocals

We can also confirm that there will be one...at least two...potentially THREE sing-alongs with Jay!

While the Global Orchestra will ultimately be teaching to, and performing for, young children, this "Let's Go!" event will be better for grown-ups.

WITH YOUR SUPPORT — AND ONLY WITH YOUR SUPPORT — WILL WE BE ABLE TO DEVELOP A ROBUST, SELF-SUSTAINING ORGANIZATION THAT WILL MAKE GLOBAL EDUCATION AVAILABLE TO KIDS EVERYWHERE.

1) THE GLOBAL ORCHESTRA TEACHING COMMUNITY: an international network of educators who will bring global music to children no matter where they live. The network will make musical culture-bearers available for bookings both in person and online, enabling the network to include educators who can provide students with access to an extraordinary diversity of experiences, and allowing our teachers to reach children in rural or distant parts of the world.

2) THE GLOBAL ORCHESTRA PERFORMING ENSEMBLE: a multicultural performing ensemble composed of accomplished, culturally diverse musicians that will engage kids in concerts at family-friendly festivals and community events, fusing global genres in THE MOST INCREDIBLE CONCERTS FOR KIDS.
