Event description

ADC Winter Workshop 2025
An experimental collaborative workshop printing with found materials - a new offering from Julie Paterson who loves nothing more than getting a group of people together to play and make art collaboratively.

Participants will create a large scale printed artwork on one giant sheet of paper - intuitively block printed, stamped and stencilled with shapes, patterns and textures. This giant collaborative artwork then gets cut into smaller pieces to create your own personalised multi-page mini artbook or zine to then draft your own haiku poetry in!

No prior skills or experience required, and all materials are supplied. Come along ready to play and experiment!

About Julie Paterson
Julie is a painter, printmaker and designer of textiles. She owns a small fabric company called Cloth that she set up more than 25 years ago, because it made sense at the time and still does now.

Julie lives in NSW's Blue Mountains on Darug and Gundungurra land, where she works with a small team of people who love what they do, making textiles by hand, the old-fashioned way.

She collaborates with others for the joy of making something together that we couldn’t make alone.
