Event description

Join us this World Mental Health Day for an impactful conversation on mental health and wellbeing as part of the National Multicultural Mental Health Month 2025 campaign highlighting the theme "Lived Experience Leads the Way".

This special event will feature a Q&A panel of mental health professionals, individuals with lived experience, and youth advocates. Together, they will share powerful insights, personal stories, and strategies to foster greater understanding, reduce stigma, and create a more supportive environment for mental health discussions.

In this session, we will highlight how those with lived experience are leading the way in shaping more empathetic and effective approaches to mental health care.

What to Expect:

  • In-depth discussions on mental health from a variety of perspectives such as mental health professionals, lived experience individuals, youth and community members.

  • Opportunities to ask questions and engage with panellists.

Whether you're looking to learn more, gain practical advice, or simply listen and connect, this event will provide you with valuable insights on how lived experience is paving the way for change.

Let’s come together to amplify the voices that matter most and build a compassionate, informed, and resilient community.
