Letters of Hope End of Year Virtual Volunteer Celebration

Do I have to come?: This event is completely optional, but is a chance to celebrate all that we have achieved this year, and to thank all of our amazing Letters of Hope Volunteers. We will be giving away some amazing prizes!  

If you can't make it: unfortunately this event will not be recorded due to its interactive nature. However, we have created a prize draw for those who cannot make it that you can enter by clicking here. This will be a random draw immediately after the event, and you will be in with the chance of winning a $50 Kustom Haus Gift Card!

Do I have to talk or turn my camera on?: It is completely up to you! But we want you to know that there is no pressure at all to have your camera on or talk. We respect everyone's comfort levels and welcome you to participate in a way that is comfortable for you. We  will be using a tool called Mentimeter to ensure people can participate in activities and discussions anonymously if preferred.

What will this event involve?:

• Lucky door prize
• We will also be doing a prize for the best festive virtual background, so feel free to start searching!
• What we have achieved in 2023 - time to celebrate.
• What we hope to achieve in 2024
• Christmas Trivia
•  Other fun games with prizes!
• If we have time at the end, for those who wish to stick around, we can split into some breakout rooms and chat.

Please note, that whilst this particular event may not involve the chance to connect and chat to other volunteers as much as our previous events, there will be plenty of opportunity in 2024 for more of our casual virtual meet-ups with breakout rooms etc. We wanted to ensure all volunteers may be comfortable joining this event., whether they would like to socialise with others or not.
