Level 2 (Intermediate) Sewing Class for Kids and Teens

Have you (or your child) done our beginner sewing class? Do you want to extend your sewing machine skills? This Level 2 (intermediate) sewing class is aimed at 9+ year olds wanting to build on their basic sewing machine skills.

Over 3 consecutive days (2.5 hours per day) these classes will teach students how to sew a pair of shorts and a zippered toiletries bag/make up bag. All materials, patterns and use of equipment is included in the cost of the course. Students can bring their own sewing machine or use one of ours.

DETAILS:

• Classes are over 3 days. (7th, 8th, 9th Oct)

• Participants are expected to be able to thread and adjust sewing machine and sew simple projects.

Please Note: This intermediate sewing workshop is created using circular economy principles. This means, we will be using many recycled and reclaimed fabrics, and haberdashery items for our sewing workshops. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
