Leveraging AI: your job application assistant
Event description
Description:
Tired of generic job applications that don't get results? This interactive workshop shows you exactly how to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to create targeted, compelling applications that stand out.
You'll follow along in real-time as we demonstrate a complete job application workflow using AI. Starting with strategic job searching, you'll learn to use AI to identify alternative position titles, analyse job requirements, and map your skills against employer needs. Then we'll transform generic resumé bullet points into powerful achievement statements.
The workshop culminates with hands-on selection criteria writing, where you'll see how to use AI for clarity, critical review, and structural organisation using frameworks like STAR. You'll learn exactly how to prompt AI effectively, when to accept suggestions, and how to maintain your authentic voice while maximising AI assistance.
This isn't a lecture—it's a live demonstration you participate in from start to finish.
